Sometimes there's so much to say, a writer actually has writers' block !!! :)
Since last writing on my blog, my family doctor referred me to an Orthopedic Surgeon to check things out- hopefully a step closer (?) to perhaps figuring out why the Scalene spasm took place and why I'm still experiencing mild random symptoms. Richard will be accompanying me tomorrow, leaving our kiddos with some church friends. I'm almost expecting the Dr to order more tests (like an MRI), so I'm not enthused about this visit (more time, money, etc.), but I understand the importance of being thorough~ :)
A week ago, I was blessed to be able to attend a Women's Ministry conference with other ladies from church ... what a challenge and encouragement all at once. I'm still re-reading the handouts and notes, applying Scripture to my every-day life ... I just might share a few things later on. :)
While on my way home from the conference, Richard took the children to their Tapestry of Grace Unit Celebration-- a Medieval Feast!!! I was able to see the tail end of the fun ... what excitement!! I'm amazed with how much hard work goes into these celebrations within our homeschool co-op (the Tapestry co-op meets on Fridays). We've been learning about the Middle Ages these past 12 weeks, now moving into the study of the Renaissance.
Oh my! I just remembered I need to copy some pages for this week's school!! :)
I'll leave you with a couple of pictures to enjoy:
